21st Birthday Project Request

Happy Birthday!

The 21st Birthday Project celebrates ECU students as they enter a new season of adulthood and creates awareness surrounding harmful drinking patterns through a virtual one-on-one session. During these sessions, students receive tips and resources about healthy drinking behaviors which can empower them to advocate for safe drinking on campus. Interactive and educational, the 21st Birthday Project is for all students who are turning 21, students who desire to create a safe drinking plan, and those who want to know how to support their peers. At the completion of the session, students will be gifted an ECU Happy Birthday mug.

Each month the Wellness Center will offer complimentary 15-minute 21st Birthday Project sessions. Sessions will be conducted by one of our peer educated Well-Being Ambassadors or Well-Being Graduate Assistants. Each session consists of education regarding laws, the creation of a healthful plan for 21st birthday celebrations, alcohol safety 101, and peer advocacy.

If you are turning 21 this semester, use the form below to schedule your 21st Birthday session!

We will be conducting virtual sessions starting October 5th – November 13th, 2020.
