Membership Eligibility

Beginning August 16th, 2024, ECU Alumni and Retirees and their household members can enroll in monthly autopay memberships. Autopay memberships must be purchased in the Main Office of the Eakin Student Recreation Center (ESRC) during business hours however online accounts must be created before purchasing your membership. Autopay memberships will not be accepted at the Customer Service desk or at CRW at the Health Sciences Student Center. 

Membership Cost

Autopay memberships will be billed on the 1st of each month or the 1st business day of the month but no later than the 4th of the month (such as weekends or holidays). Half-off discounts will not be applied to monthly autopay memberships. Autopay memberships are a 4-month commitment or there is an Early Cancellation Fee of $25.

How to Enroll

Alumni or retirees who wish to enroll in an autopay membership must first create (or have access to their) an online account with the CRW Member Portal.

  1. Visit crwregistration.ecu.edu and click “Sign In” in the top right corner.
  2. If you’ve NEVER had a membership with us before, you can click the “Sign Up” button.
    1. If you’ve been a member with CRW before and do not have access to your online account, please email campusrec@ecu.edu to activate your online account.
    2. If you’ve been a member with CRW and have access to your online account, you may head to the ESRC Main Office to enroll.
    3. RETIREES: You no longer have access to your ECU Single Sign-on so please email campusrec@ecu.edu to transition your ECU online profile to a local account.
    4. RETIREES: You must get your Retiree ECU 1 Card before you can purchase a retiree membership.
  3. Proceed to create your online account by filling out all the required fields.
  4. Once you have created your online account, proceed to the ESRC during normal business hours. Check crw.ecu.edu/hours for a full listing of operational hours.
  5. Once in the Main Office, you will be required to pay the first month’s payment at a prorated amount.
  6. IMPORTANT: The card you use to make your downpayment must be the card that stays on file with us for your monthly payments.

Cancellations & Refunds

  • Cancellations are due by 11:59 pm on the 17th of each month by filling out the Autopay Membership Cancellation Form to not be charged for the next month’s membership fee.
  • If you cancel within the 4-month period, you will be charged the $25 Early Cancellation Fee.
  • After the 4 months is over, your membership is month-to-month.
  • Email, phone, or in-person requests are not valid cancellation requests. A form must be submitted to initiate cancellation.
  • Membership holds are not available. Members must submit a cancellation request and re-enroll as needed.
  • Refunds will not be provided for duplicate memberships.
  • No cancellation will be processed if CRW does not receive the online cancellation form.Reoccuring Payment Cancellation Form

Declined Payments

We know things happen and will work with members to ensure there is no disruption in service as best as possible. We will reach out to you via email the 60 days and 30 days before your card on file is about to expire. This will allow you plenty of time to update your card. This can be done through the CRW Member Portal.

  • If your monthly payment does not process,  you will be notified by our CRW Business Team by email and an invoice will be generated and sent to your CRW account.
  • Your membership will be suspended immediately until your credit card on file has been updated and the invoice has been paid.
  • To update the credit card on file, go to your CRW Member Portal, profile, and then Payment Options. You can update the saved card on file or add a new card. A card cannot be deleted if associated with Agreement Billing until a new one is added and made the Primary card. Fusion will only display the last 4 digits of the card and the expiration date for Saved Card payments.
  • To pay your outstanding invoice, go to your CRW Member Portal, profile, Invoices, then choose the outstanding invoice.
  • After 7 business days of non-payment, your membership will be canceled if your membership is canceled. You are still responsible for the outstanding invoice.
